Oopsies make the world go round....

So, I only noticed this once I photographed the quilt. The pink polkadot square should be shifted over one, so that it's balanced on the end. I don't know when I switched it out for the other kind of square, or if I just had it wrong when I laid it out on the floor during piecing, but it's bugging me *a little*. Funny how you don't notice things until you see the big picture. That's the lesson for today.

Yes,oopsies make the world go round. Your quilt is terrific. That's one craft I haven't mastered and one day want to try. Great going.

I love it...but if it's really bothering you...you could cut 2 more squares out a little bigger than finished and applique them on...you could even cut away a little of the boo boo part and then applique it on...just a thought...but *I* like it!

I did a log cabin for one of my first quilts, and when I brought it to the post office to mail out I noticed that one of the corner ones was backwards... the post office lady informed me that sometimes people do that on purpose in their quilts, to make a statement :) I think yours is a nice statement too! :O)

The amish always have an "oops" in their quilts stating that only God can make something perfect. Me, I make my oops like you did, by mistake, but then remember what the amish say.
